POSITION Administration assistant

REPORTING TO: General Manager

LOCATION: Regent St.

PURPOSE:

To assist the General Manager and the Store Management team in the effective and secure running of the administration, cash office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To carry out all aspects of the administration of stock movements paperwork for the store.
  • To carryout the end of day functions at back office terminals ensuring that all information is accurately entered to reflect the stores trading each day.
  • Cash up and balance the stores till functions at end of day, prepare cash for banking.
  • Understand and handle POS till problems and difficulties that may occur.
  • Ensure that all procedural/policy issues are carried out effectively

    Other Duties:
  • Order stationary for the store
  • Data entry
  • Deal with Cash office administration post
  • Payroll Administration Duties
  • Other duties as required

    Knowledge:
  • Numerate, IT literate. People oriented
  • Experience within a cash office environment – especially dealing with till discrepancies and investigating these issues.
  • PC knowledge, Excel, Word an advantage.
